Dr. Jonathan Berns
Founder & CEO
Dr. Berns is a chiropractic physician, speaker, author, and consultant with over 15 years of active practice experience. He is a second-generation chiropractor and proud graduate of the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA as well as the University of Illinois. While at Illinois, Dr. Berns played Big 10 football for the Fighting Illini on the way to earning his B.S. in neuro-science. Originally from Iowa, he’s called Tampa home since 2007 where he lives with his daughter, Brooke.
Jasmine Quintana
Operations Manager
Jasmine Quintana moved to Florida from New York City in 2006. She's worked in the medical field for over 20 years. Starting as a pharmacy tech and soon after finding her passion in the world of healthcare. She's worked in management overseeing patient care since 2016 having been in interventional pain management to physical therapy and now chiropractic care. With her Bachelors degree as a healthcare administrator Jasmine strives in exceptional leadership and utmost care towards our patients, staff, and overall practice necessities.

Dr. Raul Axtmayer
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Axtmayer was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He is a board-certified Chiropractor with a passion for pain & injury rehabilitation, chronic pain, and injury risk reduction. He graduated from The University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus in 2018 with his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He then went to Port Orange, Florida where he obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Raul graduated Summa Cum Laude, achieved the Academic Excellence Award, and was Salutatorian of his graduating class in 2021.
Michelle Cadet
Front Desk Coordinator
Michelle Cadet has been in the medical field as a vital worker for over 5 years. Having worked in a various positions such as a CNA, audiology specialist, and medical receptionist for a physical therapy facility. She's become a remarkable asset to our team and has dedicated her time to assisting patients as well as the staff with the tools necessary to allow for a comfortable and functional environment within our practice. When not assisting in overseeing the office Michelle enjoys the sweet escape into a thrilling podcast and relaxation.
Ashley Irribarren
Front Desk Receptionist
Ashley Irribarren is a certified medical biller who has been in the medical field for 8 years and has now joined our practice as our new medical receptionist. Born and raised in New Jersey, Ashley speaks a various amount of languages, from Spanish to German, and French. In her short time she has become a tremendous asset to the team as a dedicated and reliable employee. We are happy to have her as part of our SpineMed team.

David Reynolds
Director of Business Development
Dave grew up just outside of Chicago in Park Forest, Illinois. He graduated from Iowa State University with a B.A. in Journalism and also played tennis for the Cyclones, where he played #1 singles his senior year. He spent 25 years working as a television sportscaster, with local CBS and NBC stations in Mississippi, Indiana and Kentucky, before moving to Tampa in 2003 where he worked at WFLA-TV. Among the many sporting events he’s covered includes the Tampa Bay Lightning’s 2004 Stanley Cup winning team, the Tampa Bay Rays making it to the 2008 World Series and serving as host for the Bucs Bonus pre and post-game shows. In addition, he’s also covered major sporting events such as the Indianapolis 500, NCAA Final Four and the Kentucky Derby. Dave also has hosted several shows on statewide network Sun Sports and Fox Sports Florida.com. His post-television career and transition to the business world has included several Public Relations and Business Development positions with companies such as Visit Tampa Bay and Vistra Communications before joining Suncoast Spine Med in January, 2020.
